However candidates should take time to do their background findings of what course and school their UTME score can fit into for admission this year. At least candidate(s) should have made up his or her mind before their various institutions commences PostUTME exercise for 2020.

Hope this helps?

  1. Thanks for the enlightening post. Sir, I chose Unilag in the last UTME 2020 and I scored 281 with O’level points of 16.4 and I intend to study Pharmacy but someone ask me to change to Pharmacology now because that is less competitive, please advise me on whether to change or not to change.

    • My submission is don’t change yet just work harder in PostUtme and ensure you don’t score less than 27/30 (its possible with hard and smart work). A robust O’level result and catchment considerations are boosters too. After writing this year’s PostUtme and result is released you will need to take immediate action to leave it or change based on your result. Do your aggregate calculation and lets know immediately via Whatsapp: 08098321352 don’t wait till cutoff is released it could be late then.

  2. I took the last Jamb and scored 226 to study computer science in Unilag, please should I change or leave it like that.

    • 226 for computer science is kind of low given recent trends, it also depends on how robust your O’level result it if you have one and if you are yet to write work hard to make Maths,Phy,Chem,Eng & Further Maths (compulsory for Computer Science in Unilag) all As or As and Bs at worst to boost your admission chance. Don’t forget that and its 5 years course in Unilag.

    • If it is Unilag hope you have your O’levels including Further Maths. Don’t give up and you still have opportunity before you change. Prepare well for PostUTME then lets have your score immediately result is out to take decision.
